Story: The Lion & The Mouse
One afternoon, a mighty lion was sleeping under a tree.
A little mouse was playing around and accidentally ran over the lion’s paw.
The lion woke up angrily and caught the mouse with his big paw. He roared,
“You have disturbed me! I will crush you right now!”
The mouse got scared and pleaded,
“O King, please forgive me. Maybe one day I can also help you.”
Hearing this, the lion laughed loudly and said,
“You are so small! How can you ever help me?”
But as a joke, he let the mouse go free.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net. He tried very hard but could not escape. The lion roared loudly for help.
Just then, the same little mouse came there. He started cutting the ropes with his sharp teeth. Slowly, the net was cut, and the lion was free again.
The lion said with gratitude,
“Today I have learned that being big or small does not matter. Everyone has their own value.”
